Five observations on Week 17 in the NFL:

Kansas City enters playoffs on a 10-game winning streak

The Chiefs are the hottest team in the league even though they’re a wild card team. They won their opener, lost five in a row and then won their last 10 as they finished up with a 23-17 victory over Oakland. They’re the first team to follow five losses in a row with 10 victories in a row. But Denver beat San Diego, 27-20, to win the AFC West with a 12-4 record. The Kansas City win streak may be a bit misleading because they won two against San Diego and Oakland and one each against Cleveland and Baltimore.
