Extra Points: 5 takeaways from Jaguars' loss to Chargers

WASTED OPPORTUNITY

Even when they were a game out of the AFC South lead, the guess here was the Jaguars’ playoff hopes were remote. They don’t create enough sacks and turnovers, aren’t good enough in the red zone, their run game was laboring and the roster not deep enough. Plus, Houston had the best offensive and defensive players (DeAndre Hopkins and J.J. Watt) in the division and Indianapolis might get Andrew Luck back from a kidney injury. Having established all that, Sunday’s loss to San Diego was pathetic. The Jaguars should have led 14-0 in the first quarter.
