Despite losing nine of their last ten games, a locker room in complete disarray, and the franchise fading from relevancy once again in historic fashion, the Jaguars have made the decision to retain head coach Doug Marrone for the 2019 season, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rappaport.
It’s not too surprising, but the fact that a coaching staff that was already allowed to try and jump start their season by firing the offensive coordinator and benching their recently extended and former fourth overall pick at quarterback, only to see the offense get worse, seemed like a sign that a clean sweep may be needed across the staff.
