The misdemeanor battery charges against Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Dan Skuta have been dropped by the State Attorney's office, according to a report by TMZ Sports. Skuta was accused of shoving a woman in the face late one night in Orlando, causing her head to hit a glass window, though there were no physical injuries reported. Per the TMZ report, the State Attorney's office didn't feel there was enough evidence to prosecute the case, so the charges have been dropped.
Skuta's agent released a statement a few weeks ago indicating that Skuta was the person who was actually attacked in the whole situation, but as of yet nothing more has come from that angle and no charges have been filed against the accuser.
