JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- The Bolles School alum Desmond Cooper is in the middle of his first NFL offseason with the team he grew up rooting for.
Some would be overwhelmed with the possibility of consistently playing in front of close friends and family as well as former classmates, but Cooper seems to be comfortable with his situation.
Cooper, who was signed following a tryout at rookie minicamp in May, has been competing for a job on special teams and at safety. Having come from the new football program at UNC-Charlotte, he is relishing his opportunity to learn under the tutelage of the veterans in the locker room.
