Colts confident QB Andrew Luck will play against Jaguars despite sore shoulder

INDIANAPOLIS — Colts coach Chuck Pagano is confident quarterback Andrew Luck will play Sunday against Jacksonville despite a sore right shoulder.

Luck has taken a beating this season. He's been sacked five times and taken 10 other hits. He was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

After last weekend's 35-33 victory at Tennessee, speculation mounted that Luck might have hurt his ribs. But Luck downplayed those suggestions Monday. He told reporters he only had the normal bumps and bruises players get in the NFL.

Luck, the top pick in the 2012 draft, has started 57 straight games including the playoffs.
