Apparently the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would have passed on Blake Bortles last year because he wasn't "alpha male" enough.
The general assumption is that on Thursday next week, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to draft FSU quarterback Jameis Winston with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. Leading up to that, one interesting thing I noticed in passing was a comment made about Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles.
Apparently, had the Jaguars not picked Bortles at the No. 3 overall pick last season and he'd fallen to the Bucs at seventh overall, the Bucs would have passed on him because he wasn't viewed as a guy with a "take charge" personality.
