Jaguars defensive end Andre Branch isn’t the future at Leo.
That’s rookie Dante Fowler’s role.
However, with Fowler’s season-ending knee injury, Branch can become the present for the Jaguars at the pass-rush specialist Leo spot before the third-overall pick returns in 2016.
Branch has a prime opportunity entering his fourth season.
While 33-year-old end Chris Clemons has chosen to barely see the field since last season and missed the first four days of training camp, Branch has been proactive in trying to improve.
“I know in this defense I can do great things,” Branch said.
