The Jacksonville Jaguars have cut backup quarterback Alex McGough, according to ESPN’s Michael DiRocco.
Folks, the dream is dead.
Not a surprise, but league sources confirm that Jaguars have released QB Alex McGough.

In all seriousness, it’s not that surprising. McGough was 11-for-29 for only 60 yards in three appearances this preseason. He did flash with 59 rushing yards on six carries — including a touchdown in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Except him to be back on the practice squad if no one puts in a claim.
