Albert’s holdout could lead to Robinson starting for Jaguars

  • With head coach Doug Marrone yet to get in contact with Branden Albert, the Jaguars have been using second-round draft pick Cam Robinson exclusively at left tackle during their rookie camp.
  • Albert was traded to the team earlier this offseason and is projected to be the team’s starter at left tackle, but is currently in the middle of a holdout.
  • Despite Albert coming off a season where he was hampered by injuries and posting a career-low PFF grade of 42.2 in 2016, recent history suggests he may be a safer option than Robinson playing as a rookie.
