The NFL suspended Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Aaron Colvin for four games for a violation of the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs Friday, per Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union.
General manager Dave Caldwell released a statement regarding the suspension, per Tad Dickman, the Jaguars' senior manager of public relations:
We have been aware for some time of the impending suspension on Aaron Colvin. We are disappointed in this situation, but we know this is not indicative of Aaron's character or the type of person that he is.
