2019 NFL waiver wire: How it works, order, targets, and more for the Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars wrapped up their final cuts on the way down to their first 53-man roster of the 2019 NFL season on Saturday. Teams used to cut from 90 to 75 players on Tuesday of the final week, and then down to 53 on Saturday. The league removed the first cut two years ago, so now, teams are cutting from 90 players to 53 at that final cut.

That means almost 1,200 players will be available to the Jaguars via the waiver wire — and Jaguars will be looking to upgrade running back and tight end, as well as possibly add a veteran backup quarterback.
