The Jacksonville Jaguars are most certainly going to be looking for a new starting quarterback this offseason, likely in the 2019 NFL Draft. That direction may just be getting a boost in the form of another top heralded quarterback, as reports seem to indicate that Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray appears to be likely to be entering the 2019 NFL Draft.
For those unaware, Murray was a first-round pick in the MLB Draft by the Oakland A’s and he signed a contract worth $4.6 million to play baseball. However, as Murray’s college season went on, culminating with winning the Heisman Trophy and earning a spot in the CFB Playoffs, the thought grew that Murray could pass up professional baseball in favor of the NFL.
