The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced that they’ll be closing their facility and working remotely after a practice squad player tested positive for COVID-19.
The team is currently scheduled to host the Detroit Lions at TIAA Bank Field on Sunday. As of now, the game is set to be played.
The following players have been added to the practice squad/COVID-19 list:

- Ellefson, Ben (TE, North Dakota State)
- Evans, Nate (LB, Central Florida)
- Giles-Harris, Joe (LB, Duke)
- Godwin, Terry (WR, Georgia)
- Hammond, Josh (WR, Florida)
- Hilbers, Jared (T, Washington)
- McDermott, KC (Miami-FL)
- Middleton, Doug (DB, Appalachian State)
- Nurse, Josh (DB, Utah)
- Pleasants, Austen (T, Ohio)
- Quinn, Trey (WR, Southern Methodist)
The Jaguars also placed the following player on the reserve/COVID-19 list:
The reserve/COVID-19 list is a new reserve category created by the NFL this season for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons, thus a player being on the list does not mean they have tested positive for COVID-19.
