100 moments in 100 days: Maurice Jones-Drew carried the Jaguars by himself for years

This year marks the 25th season for the Jacksonville Jaguars. To celebrate, we’re counting down 100 days from our regular season kickoff with the top 100 moments in franchise history.

Yesterday it was Fred Taylor dragging Gene Frenette like he was Mike Doss.

Today? Mr. 32 himself — Maurice Jones-Drew.

Jones-Drew, a second-round draft pick in 2006, started 70 of 114 games in eight seasons with the Jaguars and led the team in rushing in six of his eight seasons. He concluded his career in 2014 with the Oakland Raiders, playing in 12 games with one start.
