Iowa State quarterback Zeb Noland was not around for Iowa State’s win over Texas Tech and now he will no longer be an Iowa State Cyclone.
Iowa State coach Matt Campbell made the transfer announcement on Monday and he released the following statement;
“I want to thank Zeb for his time at Iowa State, he notified me of his decision to transfer in order to find more playing time. I respect Zeb’s decision and we will assist him in his process of finding another school.”
Noland’s decision comes after the emergence of freshman Brock Purdy. Noland was forced into the backup role while Purdy has won three straight games.
