The Big 12 tournament kicks off this morning with 50 entries to the NCAA tournament in Pittsburgh on the line. Eight Cyclones earned allocations for the conference and will be wrestling to cash in the spot they earned, while at 157 and 165 Chase Straw and Logan Schumacher will be doing their best to ruin someone else’s weekend by stealing a spot. For some guys this weekend is a chance to move up the rankings and improve their seed for NCAAs, for others it is a fight to extend their season a few more weeks and earn the title of NCAA Qualifier.
