Women’s golfer Chonlada Chayanun was named the Iowa State Female Athlete of the Year, it was announced Thursday.
The senior set Cyclone recrods in season stroke average (73.09), career stroke average (74.1), 54-hole score (209) and 18-hole score (65). She was twice named to the all-Big 12 first team and was a top-10 finisher four times this past season, uncluding a win at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic.
The Thailand native has four of the top five 18-hole scores in program history. She finished this season ranked 61st nationally by Golfweek.
