The winter storm that swept through the state of Iowa on Friday likely made the Iowa State women’s basketball team eager to get to the warm beaches of Mexico for a Thanksgiving tournament.
But the snow inadvertently gave the Cyclones an extra couple days of preparation for their upcoming trip.
The inclement weather caused ISU to postpone its game with New Orleans today. The program released a statement on Saturday, saying the weather caused travel problems for the Privateers. A makeup date has yet to be announced.
As such, the Cyclones can now shift their focus to the Cancun Challenge.
