Emily Durr was told on Monday she would start in lieu of Seanna Johnson. The sophomore guard was then inserted into practice on Tuesday, where she began her preparations for Wednesday night’s game against Kansas State.
During the postgame, Durr was critical of her performance. She wasn’t happy with how she shot the ball in the Iowa State women’s basketball team’s 68-53 loss to Kansas State.
“I’m a shooter and a scorer,” Durr said. “I can always do better, and I don’t think I did very well tonight. The scoreboard tells you that. Just have to get back in the gym and keep working.
