Iowa State guard Seanna Johnson has briefly left the team to be with her family after her father, Curtis, suffered a stroke.
Head coach Bill Fennelly expects, but did not confirm, that Johnson will be back to play Kansas State on Wednesday (7 p.m., Cyclones.tv). An ISU spokesperson said the choice would be left with Johnson and her family.
Johnson, a junior from Brooklyn Park, Minn., currently leads the Cyclones in both scoring and rebounding, at 16.5 points and 9.2 boards per game, respectively. Those marks also rank second and third in the Big 12 Conference.
