Iowa State’s Seanna Johnson will not play tonight against Kansas State, an ISU spokesperson told the Tribune.
Johnson, a junior guard, chose to stay home with her family in Minnesota after he father, Curtis, had a stroke. Sophomore guard Emily Durr is expected to start in Johnson’s place.
This will be the first game in her Cyclone career that Johson doesn’t start. She had started 88-consecutive games before tonight.
Johnson leads ISU with 16.5 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. ISU did not confirm her status for Saturday’s game at No. 23 Oklahoma.
