Three Cyclones posted double-doubles as the Iowa State women’s basketball team beat Northern Arizona, 79-63, on Tuesday afternoon at Hilton Coliseum.
The Cyclones used a 16-2 run between the third and fourth quarters to overcome a late deficit and ultimately put away the pesky Lumberjacks. ISU (8-3) closed out the non-conference portion of its schedule on a six-game winning streak.
Bryanna Fernstrom scored a game-high 23 points, and added 13 rebounds and 9 blocks. Seanna Johnson turned in a double-double as well, scoring 16 and grabbing 12 boards. Jadda Buckley also joined the double-double party, scoring 17 and dishing out 10 assists.
