There were moments during Iowa State’s two exhibition games when Jadda Buckley jogged over to the sideline to chat with coach Bill Fennelly. There, in the middle of the game, Fennelly would offer advice to his redshirt sophomore point guard.

It happened a few times during the Cyclones’ 77-51 victory over Concordia-St. Paul on Sunday. Buckley is the first to admit there’s a lot to learn about being a starting point guard.
