In a low-scoring affair, the Iowa State women’s basketball team overcame a second-half deficit to beat Oklahoma State, 49-42, on Saturday afternoon.
ISU (10-3, 2-0 Big 12) didn’t shoot well at all in what became its eighth-straight victory. The Cyclones finished 12-of-53 from the field, but took advantage of their free-throw opportunities, going 22-25 from the line.
Seanna Johnson led the Cyclones with 16 points and 13 rebounds for her 10th double-double of the season. Bridget Carleton added 11 points while Nicole ‘Kidd’ Blaskowsky and Jadda Buckley both scored 8.
