Three players scored in double figures as the Iowa State women’s basketball team beat Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 70-41, on Sunday afternoon at Hilton Coliseum.
True freshman Bridget Carleton led the Cyclones (6-3) with 22 points off the bench. Carleton sank six 3-pointers in the first half to help ISU distance itself from the Golden Lions (3-6).
Behind Carleton, Seanna Johnson and Meredith Burkhall both scored 11 points and corralled six rebounds. On the whole, ISU shot 42.4 percent from the field and went 7-for-27 from behind the arc.
The Cyclones have now won four-straight games, all in the month of December.
