Iowa State women’s basketball has landed a commitment from 2016 international center/forward Aliyah Konate, from Berlin, Germany, according to a source.
She is expected to sign next week.
The 6-foot-4 Konate won the Berlin German championships, East German championships and North German championships for three straight years with the club team ALBA Berlin.
She was also the first woman from ALBA Berlin to be named to the national team in 2013.
