Women’s Basketball: Cyclones add international guard to 2016 class
The Iowa State women’s basketball team announced the addition of another international talent to its program on Thursday morning.
Sofija Zivaljevic, from Montenegro, signed a letter of intent to compete for the Cyclones starting this falll, ISU coach Bill Fennelly announced.
“We are excited to add Sofija to the Iowa State women’s basketball family,” Fennelly said in a release. “Sofija will help provide additional ball handling skills that we need. Her international experience is something we also saw as a great positive.
