Less than a month ago, Bridget Carleton was given the opportunity to chase one of her lifelong dreams. On Tuesday, it was announced that she’s taken another step toward realizing that goal.
Carleton, a rising sophomore guard for the Iowa State women’s basketball team, was announced as one of 18 players selected to participate in the Canada women’s national team Phase 2 camp in Edmonton, which runs June 29 to July 12, according to Canada Basketball.
“Bridget continues to get some great experience with Team Canada,” head coach Bill Fennelly said in a release from ISU. “Being able to participate in Phase 2 is a great honor and I know she will compete and continue to impress while impacting success.
