Pitt's defensive line will get a big boost in 2016, as former Tennessee Volunteer Dewayne Hendrix has decided to transfer to the program. Hendrix Tweeted his decision to join the Panthers on Monday evening.
The D-lineman also considered Illinois, Iowa State and Northern Illinois, according to John Taylor of College Football Talk, but ultimately decided on Pitt.
Hendrix is the second player to transfer from Tennessee's football program to Pittsburgh's this offseason, following quarterback Nathan Peterson.
