After weeks of ISU basketball talk revolving around a coaching change, fans finally got a chance to put all of that aside and see ISU players in action for the first time since March.
The Capital City League kicked off Wednesday evening with a triple-header in front of a packed crowd in West Des Moines. Here is a rundown of how the games went and how some ISU players performed in their first action in months:
Game 1: Walnut Creek YMCA 133, Capital Orthopedics 114
The first game of the 2015 Capital City League season provided ISU fans the chance to get acquainted with two new additions to the program — Nick Noskowiak and Nick Babb.
