The Iowa State Cyclones dropped their fourth straight game on Wednesday night in a 62-72 loss to the TCU Horned Frogs at Hilton Coliseum. Iowa State (11-8, 3-5) fell victim to a 17-2 run late in the 2nd quarter that was ultimately the deciding factor. Seanna Johnson started the game and played 39 minutes, but the junior guard only managed to score three points on 1-11 shooting. Johnson was questionable for Wednesday's game after a fall against Baylor last Saturday. Freshman Bridget Carleton led Iowa State with 23 points and 11 rebounds.
Despite an early rebounding advantage, Iowa State was limited offensively in the 1st quarter due to five turnovers.
