Oklahoma bested Iowa State 79-76 on Thursday night's quarterfinal matchup of the Big 12 Tournament. The story of the game was the amazing play by Buddy Hield and Georges Niang, the senior leaders of their respective teams. Hield finished the night with 39 points and 9 rebounds to lead the Sooners, while Niang matched a career high with 31 points to go along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
The Cyclones were down by six points at halftime and Oklahoma increased their lead in the first few minutes of the second half.
