New Iowa State coach Steve Prohm has reportedly made his first staff addition.
Prohm has tabbed his former Murray State assistant William Small to join him at ISU, Prohm said on the ESPNU College Basketball Podcast on Monday. An ISU athletic department spokesman declined to confirm the move to the Ames Tribune on Monday, citing university hiring processes.
Small worked for Prohm for four seasons with the Racers after the two previously worked together under Billy Kennedy, now head coach at Texas A&M, at Southeastern. He also has stops at Western Kentucky, Troy, Tulane, Gerogia State and UTEP, among others, on his resume.
