STILLWATER, Okla. — On Saturday morning, Jameel McKay said his suspension was for one game. Following Iowa State’s 64-59 win over Oklahoma state that afternoon, ISU coach Steve Prohm reiterated that it was an indefinite suspension that could stretch beyond just a single contest.
“It’s really between me and him,” Prohm said, “just a situation him and me have to get resolved, and that’s it. I don’t want to talk about it too much outside (of the team) other than it’s something we need to sit down and visit about, and we’ve got to get on the same page.
