FORT WORTH, Texas - Monte Morris’ consistency of excellence continues to move to a level of rarified air.
The Iowa State point guard had 18 points, six assists and just one turnover in 38 minutes of ISU’s 73-60 win Saturday over TCU to add another gem to a string of them in recent Big 12 play.
“Just staying in attack mode, staying downhill,” Morris said of his success Saturday. “My coaches and teammates always want me to play downhill, just to make the flow of the game better and get them open looks as well.”
Over his last five games, Morris is averaging 19 points, five assists, 4.
