Iowa State guard Nick Noskowiak will not be returning to the men’s basketball program. The Cyclones announced, in a statement on Saturday, that Noskowiak and the program “have agreed to mutually part ways.”
In his home state of Wisconsin, Noskowiak was charged with OWI in May and is facing felony first-degree recklessly endangering safety and misdemeanors of criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct from an incident in August. Noskowiak was suspended from the team on Thursday.
““Nick informed us Friday night of his decision to step away from basketball and we agree that it is in his best interest and the best interest of Iowa State for us to mutually part,” said coach Steve Prohm in a statement.
