Twitter has inspired Georges Niang to make two major changes in his life.
The first, famously, was to lose weight after playing his first two seasons with the Iowa State men’s basketball team with a body more befitting a rec league all-star than All-Big 12 performer.
“I think that was when someone (tweeted at) me I had bigger breasts than their girlfriend,” Niang said in October 2014. “I figured I should probably get myself together after that.
“I think I might’ve ate a salad after that game.”
The most recent Twitter-fueled life alteration Niang made was to, in fact, to stop using Twitter.
