To snap a two-game losing skid, No. 14 Iowa State men’s basketball turned to its All-American.
With the game tied at 58, the Cyclones went to Georges Niang on consecutive possessions in the final 1 minute, 15 seconds to ensure a 64-59 win at Oklahoma State on Saturday.
The Cyclones (17-6) needed to turn Niang after seeing a 10-point second-half lead disappear. Deonte Burton recorded a steal and Monte Morris hit two free throws in the final 30 seconds to help ISU pick up its third straight road win at Oklahoma State, a first since the 1970s.
