WEST DES MOINES — Incoming Iowa State point guard Donovan Jackson is still at least a month away from fully returning to the court.
“I’m getting better everyday,” Donovan Jackson said of his recovering broken wrist on Friday. “I’ve been doing my rehab lately. It’s a slow process but it’s getting there.
“I can’t do any contact. I do my own individual workouts.”
Jackson, who broke his wrist while at Iowa Western Community College in January, hit a bit of a slowdown in his rehab before arriving in Ames.
“It’s taking longer because I had to stop doing rehab for awhile,” Jackson said.
