Fred Hoiberg is out of the hospital.

The Iowa State men’s basketball coach tweeted on his way out of the Mayo Clinic on Thursday, just six days after undergoing open heart surgery to replace a valve.

Hoiberg underwent his first open heart surgery in 2005 after doctors discovered an aortic root aneurysm. This recent surgery inserted a mechanical valve in his heart.

His full recovery is expected to take four-to-six weeks.
