Tim Mannix, a graduate assistant with the Iowa State men’s basketball team, is currently in the Story County jail on a charge of contempt of court, according to online records.
Mannix pled guilty in July to a previously unreported charge of OWI first offense stemming from an arrest in May.
An ISU spokesperson did not have an immediate comment when reached by the Ames Tribune. A voicemail left with Ames police was not immediately returned.
Mannix joined ISU ahead of the 2014-15 season under then-coach Fred Hoiberg and was retained for this upcoming season by new coach Steve Prohm.
