Jackson Vroman, who played two seasons at Iowa State in the early 2000s, has died, his agent confirmed in an email to the Ames Tribune.
The 34-year-old Vroman was reportedly involved in a car accident.
Vroman came to ISU in 2002 from Snow Community College, where he was an All-American. He started in 62 of 63 career games over two seasons with the Cyclones, averaging 13.2 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. ISU went 37-27 in his two years there and made two NIT appearances, reaching the semifinals his senior season in which was named a second-team all-conference player.
