Monte Morris hit the go-ahead shot with 21 seconds remaining and then the Cyclones got a stop on the other end, fending off a layup attempt from Buddy Hield and a 3-pointer from Isaiah Cousins.
Georges Niang scored 22 points while Abdel Nader and Monte Morris each added 20 for the Cyclones.
Buddy Hield had 27 for the Sooners.
