The Iowa State men’s basketball team slipped a spot to No. 5 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll, it was revealed Monday.
The Cyclones improved to 5-0 for the season with wins over Virginia Tech and Illinois last week, but moved down from No. 4 by previous No. 5 Kansas, which is 4-1 and defeated UCLA and Vanderbilt last week. The Jayhawks also learned that five-star recruit Cheick Diallo will be eligible to play starting Tuesday. He had previously been under investigation by the NCAA for eligibility reasons.
