Iowa State men’s basketball is smack-dab in the middle of the grinder that is the Big 12 round-robin schedule. The Cyclones, ranked 14th nationally, are one game above .500 through nine contests. It’s not where many people would have pegged the preseason top-10 team to be as it appeared they would be a contender to dethrone Kansas in the Big 12.
