Wins and letters, that’s what the Iowa State men’s basketball team is playing for right now.
The 17th-ranked Cyclones got both Saturday with an 80-61 victory over Kansas State at Hilton Coliseum on Saturday evening.
“I’ve told our team all year, we’re trying to build a team,” ISU coach Steve Prohm said. “I got in the locker room. We hadn’t put a ‘T’ up yet (on the whiteboard). We’ve got to spell the rest of the ‘E-A-M’ by the rest of the year.”
The rest of the year is coming quick for these Cyclones, and they know it.
