MANHATTAN, Kan. — The Iowa State men’s basketball team is back in the win column.
The 17th-ranked Cyclones defeated Kansas State, 76-63, on Saturday at Bramlage Coliseum to stop a two-game losing streak and improve to 2-3 in Big 12 play.
ISU (13-4) held the Wildcats to X percent shooting while connecting on X percent of their own shots. Monte Morris finished with 19 points and four assists while Georges Niang added 15 points and six rebounds. Jordan Ashton, filling in for the suspended Hallice Cooke, scored five points in 18 minutes in his Big 12 debut.
