MANHATTAN, Kan. - Iowa State sophomore guard Hallice Cooke has been suspended for today’s game against Kansas State, an ISU spokesperson told the Ames Tribune.
It is a one-game suspension for a violation of team rules, according to ISU.
Cooke is averaging 3.7 points and 14.7 minutes per game for the Cyclones as one of just two reserve players that coach Steve Prohm employs off the bench.
The suspension comes amid a time of some tumult for ISU as the Cyclones, a preseason top-10 team, are 1-3 to start Big 12 play and have lost two games in a row.
