The new Iowa State men’s basketball coach said he plans to start assembling a staff after spending the next few days getting to better know the Cyclones.
Prohm wanted to get a chance to visit with former coach Fred Hoiberg’s assistants T.J. Otzelberger, Cornell Mann and Charlie Henry, all of whom have one year left on their contracts, and see how his job at Murray State was filled. Just hours after Prohm’s press conference, his former assistant Matt McMahon was announced as coach.
